This is a delicious recipe that you can’t avoid.. Its Peas Rice, an Indian style of spicy recipe.

Ingredients:

Basmati Rice 1 cup

Frozen peas 1/2 cup

One onion red or yellow

One Plum tomato

1 tablespoon of Ginger

Garlic paste 1/2

1 tablespoon of Garam Masala ( Indian Spice)

2 Green Chillies

20 mint leaves

one cup of fresh Coconut milk

Salt to taste

Its always good to soak basmati rice in water for 1/2 hour before cooking.

In a frying pan, add chopped onions and fry until golden brown. Then add ginger Garlic paste, Garam masala, green Chillies, chilli powder if more spiciness is needed, chopped tomato, and finally add green peas and fry all the ingredients well until cooked.

In the vessel to cook rice, add the soaked rice with 2 cup water and 1 cup coconut milk. Add the fried masala mixture to the rice. Don’t forget to add salt for taste. Microwave the rice for 25 to 30 minutes until cooked fluffy. The delicious peas rice is ready to eat with any meat or vegetarian side dish.
